This veterinary surgeon vacancy in Dorset is based in one of Dorset's stunning villages.  They are commutable in less than 30 minutes from the following areas:

Bridport, Lyme Regis, Crewkerne, Dorchester, Yeovil, Sherborne, West Bay, Charmouth, Chard, Ilminster, Beaminster, Broadwindsor, South Perrott, Halstock, Evershot, Stoke Abbott, Mosterton, Maiden Newton, Burton Bradstock, Cattistock.

The practice is well equipped including:
  • keyhole surgical kit,
  • Dental x-ray,
  • Digital x-ray,
  • Endoscopes,
  • Gastroscope,
  • in-house bloods, biochemistry and urine analysis,
  • Anti-coagulant,
  • prep and theatre rooms, Stunning reception area
  • Beautiful consult rooms,
  • Kennel room,
  • Isolation room
The successful candidate will join 2 other vets as well as a team of nurses.  Ideally candidates will have 12-24 months experience, and will be happy with some routine soft tissue surgeries and managing their own medical caseload.  Vets looking to start a certificate will be welcomed and funded.

Vets looking to work full time will work a 4 day week with 1/6 weekends.  Our client can be flexible towards part time working.  Please let Bright Leaf Recruitment know your needs.

  • Salary upto £60,000
  • Clinical CPD: £1,500 per year plus 3 days’ paid leave
  • VDS, RCVS and BVA fees paid.
