Our client in Bolton have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their wonderful team.

This practice have a reputation as a friendly and competent practice and have many longstanding clients, and team members. The team emphasis is on a pleasant working environment for both employees and clients. They have good facilities including an in house lab, a very good ultrasound machine with colour doppler, digital radiography etc. They value a pleasant working environment as much as clinical expertise. 

This is a full time role, over 4 days per week, but consideration will be given to part-time applications. 
The weekend rota is 1:4 Saturday mornings (finishing at 12 noon). There are no OOH duties as the team use a dedicated out of hours service.

You will be joining a team of 3 Vets, 5 RVNs and a dedicated receptionist team. Currently the team don't have any specialists but there are many locally and then team are able to refer cases when appropriate. 

The ideal candidate will be someone who will be a competent and confident veterinary surgeon and fit well into the team, a good work ethic is just as important to the team as clinical skills. Interests are welcomed and encouraged and the team would support specialised CPD if desired. 

In addition to salary dependent on experience you will also receive:        
            •    5 weeks paid holiday not including bank holidays

            •    £1250 CPD Allowance per annum

            •    VDS Membership paid
            •    BVA Membership paid
            •    Service based holiday entitlement increases
