The practice has an established history of over 70 years, providing veterinary care to small animal, farm and equine clients in the local communities. They have two branches, one based in the Jurassic coastal town of Sidmouth and the other in the nearby market town.

The team participate in a variety of local charity events and are proud of the 24 hour service they offer for all their mixed veterinary work. They take part in a variety of charity events including running a fun dog show, coffee mornings and Christmas stalls. You will be joining a supportive team veterinary, nursing and administrative colleagues who work across both sites. Currently, plans are being worked on to re-organise the two premises which will facilitate further growth and development.

You will be completing 1st opinion work to include small animal consults and surgical caseload, this may include elements of sole charge. There is opportunity available for mentoring junior colleagues.

If your preference is for mixed or small animal/equine work, they would still really like to hear from you as they have flexibility to consider these roles. They are also happy to discuss part time hours and look at a rota to suit you.

Typically, the full time Vets work 10 hours across 4 days per week with 1:4 weekends on call. Salary is up to £65k pa DOE.
