Our client is seeking an enthusiastic RVN to work at their busy practice, made up of one main hospital and 4 satellite branches. They promote further growth and development within the team giving you access to a large client base with a wide variety of cases, CPD and a supportive team. In this role you will be working with a large team of dedicated Vets, Nurses and supporting team members in the delivery of excellent client & patient care.
You will be involved in nursing duties for medical and surgical patients, provision of perioperative care, assisting with the provision of anaesthesia, as well as supporting the patient journey from admission to discharge, providing nurse consults and the provision of outstanding client care.
This is a full-time position is an average of 37.25 hours per week over 4 days, including working a 1 in 4 Saturday morning. The client can offer flexible working options so that the role works around you life outside of work.
Located in the heart of Cheltenham, renowned for horse racing and a thriving bar/restaurant scene, this is an established practice and has invested in specialist equipment including CT, DR, rigid/flexible endoscopy, high-end Doppler ultrasonography and well-equipped operating facilities.
There’s a team of 20 vets, including certificate holders in small animal surgery, cardiology, and medicine. This makes them more than a first-opinion practice as they often perform surgeries and treat cases that may otherwise have been referred. Having been established for decades, there’s a huge client base which comes with lots of variety in their caseload. The nursing team is made up of 15 RVNS and 4 SVNs in various stages of their training.
You will be an RCVS registered RVN with confidence in all areas of veterinary nursing. You will have a desire to drive forward clinical standards and client care as well as work well in a team environment. Salary is up to £28k pa.
