My client are on the lookout for a third full-time vet to join a dynamic team at our bustling small animal practice located between Nottingham and Derby, with easy access to East Midlands Airport and major motorway junctions, with the convenience of bus routes and the newly established Ilkeston train station nearby.
Your Colleague and Mentor: Work alongside the highly experienced Partner who holds a small animal surgery certificate, is an expert in exotic animal practice, advanced in small animal surgery and zoological medicine, and qualified in endoscopy and endosurgery. He's here to guide you on your veterinary journey, no matter where it takes you!
Supportive Team: close-knit team includes a fantastic and experienced nursing staff with a head nurse, four nurses, two student nurses, a Practice Manager, and four client care advisors. They’re more than just colleagues; but friends who enjoy walks in the stunning Peak District and shared meals.
They are committed to advancing your skills, offering a generous CPD package. Current staff members are pursuing master's degrees with full support. As a clinical associate with Nottingham Vet School, you'll even have the opportunity to mentor the next generation of vets!

 What They Offer:
Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 (dependent on experience)
Flexibility: Choose full-time or part-time, short or long days
No Out of Hours (OOH)
CPD Allowance: £1,500 (negotiable for special interests)

Your Role: This is your chance to thrive in a busy first opinion small animal and exotic practice, complete with an in-house advanced practitioner in both surgery and zoological medicine. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in small animal care and be confident in all aspects of routine surgery and consults. However, they would welcome new graduates with open arms. This position is full-time with weekend work on a rota basis, but absolutely no out-of-hours. Part-time hours are also negotiable.
