The Role:
•    Full-time (40 hours) or part-time – This team is flexible to help you find the right balance.
•    A fantastic, stable team that values collaboration and helps colleagues reach their goals.
•    Paid overtime, with regular breaks throughout the day, including morning, lunch, and afternoon breaks.
•    1 in 4 weekends with no OOH.
•    Consults start at 9:00 AM, with 20-minute slots and regular catch-up breaks to ensure no double bookings and smooth workflow.
•    Vet dinners every few months to discuss cases, ideas, and new products over a relaxed pub tea!
Perks:
•    Salary up to £70,000 (DOE, FTE)
•    33 days holiday, plus your birthday off (paid if you're working!)
•    £1600 CPD allowance, with additional funding considered for certificates

About the Practice: Established in 2016, this small animal practice is nestled in a beautiful rural community, offering the best of both worlds:
•    Nature and Recreation: Just 20 minutes from the beach, surrounded by countryside walks, cozy pubs, and great dining.
•    City Access: 40 minutes from both Liverpool and Preston city centers.
The team is made up of 4 experienced vets, 5 RVNs, student nurses, veterinary care assistants, and an excellent admin and client care team. The practice offers modern facilities such as digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, and a full in-house lab, and is proud of its ISFM Silver Cat Friendly and RWAF Silver Rabbit Friendly practice awards.
What they’re Looking For: We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years of experience, confident in routine surgeries and consults. Full-time or part-time applicants are welcome, as we prioritize flexibility and well-being for our staff. You’ll need to be passionate about providing excellent patient care and client communication, with a methodical approach to your day-to-day work.
