My client in Essex, commutable easily from Basildon, Southend and surrounding are looking to recruit a dedicated night vet to work fully routine operating night shifts of normally 7 on14 off. You will be confident to work in emergency and critical care and be comfortable with most emergency procedures including GDV's
The full team consists of 16 vets, and you would work liaise with the day team, who have various interests, and include certificate holders and even a diplomat, This practice pride themselves on the strong relationships previously built their clients and patients and are looking for a personable vet who is passionate about providing an excellent service. The clinic is fully functioning 24 hours a day, and has a busy emergency department taking emergency procedures and referrals fed from several practices in the area. The facilities are outstanding and include real time blood labs, endoscopes and extensive orthopedic kit and they are fully equipped to deal with complex soft tissue surgery, laparoscopy, orthopedics, ophthalmology etc and have a CT and MRI scanner, hydrotherapy, oncology and intensive care unit. The team are happy to provide support and mentoring, and would be more than happy to offer the chance to study for a Certificates
Salary is negotiable up to around £80k, with many other benefits
