My independent client are seeking a mixed veterinary surgeon to join their 20 vet team based in North Yorkshire. They work on varied mix of 75% farm 5% equine and 20% small animal. They have an expanding cattle and sheep caseload with regular herd health visits and routine fertility. They have a new small animal clinic with great facilities including digital radiography, endoscopes, ultrasound, biochem, ECG, critical care analyser, digital dental x ray.
Ideally they would like to recruit a vet with experience, however they are able to support a more recent graduate due to the experience of the duty team of 12 who work on the 1st and 2nd on call rota, allowing for mentoring and support, alongside an OOH’s nursing rota too
The role can be tailored to your own preference if you have one, but you must be happy to work across all disciplines OOH.
The practice itself is situated close to York, in a rural market town, giving you an excellent mix of access to both countryside and City within a short space of time and is close to motorway and road networks too
