Full time small animal vet in the Channel Islands

Our client is an independent, 4 practice group operating out of the Channel Islands. The team are looking for two additional vets to join them on a permanent basis.

The client is looking for a passionate vet to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and be happy to carry out consults and routine soft tissue surgery independently, although there would always be support available via the phone. You must be able to drive and have a flexible working approach as you will be working across three branches. This is a full time role, which will include weekends and out of hours on a 1:8/9 rota. Weekends will include working in practice on Saturday until 1pm and then the rest of the weekend on call. On call is fielded by an answering service and will be working with a nurse and there will always be support on the phone should it be required. When you work a weekend you then get Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun off in the following week. The practice is well quipped and forward thinking. Modern facilities include on site MRI, CT, X-Ray, ultrasound scanners and a wide range of surgical equipment. There is a wide range of surgery carried out in house including orthopaedics and spinal surgery so a surgical bias would be useful but not essential as all rounders would also be very much appreciated too.  The practice does also see a small percentage of Equine work but if candidates would only want to work in small animal then this could be accommodated. You will be based in an idyll location offering a fantastic work life balance.
