Our client prides itself on offering high quality vet care at prices affordable to all. They are now looking for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join the team.

This first opinion SA practice is conveniently situated in the lovely high street – Just a 10-minute walk to and from the train station, with easy links to London. The practice is large and modern with 4 consult rooms; a dedicated x-ray and ultrasound room and a large modern theatre and prep room. This is a unique opportunity to join a super friendly team and work in a supportive environment that offers the scope for further development in your chosen area of interest.  The Head Vet has worked at the practice for over 5 years and she thoroughly enjoys providing mentorship to new vets within the practice. You will work closely with the both the Head Vet and the clinically trained Practice Principal to ensure core values are met and to provide gold standard care to all patients who come through the door.

There is also a full team of highly skilled nurses to utilise and support you within your role of vet surgeon.  There is a 4-Vet team with 1 Head RVN; 2 RVNs, 3 SVNs and 1 ANA, all supported by a wonderful reception team and dedicated Practice Principal. 

This role provides a varied caseload which will allow you to develop your skills, with allocated time for both surgery and consults. They also ensure time is allocated for admin on a daily basis which allows you to concentrate on your patients during the consult time. 

They client is open to both full and part time applicants. Typically, this position is full time over 4/5 days per week, working a combination of early shifts (8am-4.30pm) and late shifts (11am – 7.30pm), with 1:3 Saturdays and no OOH.  When you work a Saturday, you gain a day in lieu.  Salary is up to £60,000 DOE, discretionary bonus scheme, a Welcome Bonus – Paying up to £5,000 and Relocation Allowance up to £5,000 + Visa Sponsorship (Subject to eligibility).
 
The ideal candidate would have post graduate experience  but the Head Vet is happy to support vets who have at least a years’ experience.
