Our client has a group of practices in the Hull area and is looking RVN’s to join the existing team.

The group have five well-equipped branch surgeries which are supported by a fantastic Tier 3 Hospital, with complete diagnostic suite including CT and MRI. There is a dedicated dentistry team, who carry out staged procedures and x-rays to enable them to provide a dental service of the highest standard. practice have invested heavily in staff training and their facilities to ensure they are offering the highest standards of care. The hospital has been recently extended to create additional theatre space, enabling advanced techniques to be offered, such as keyhole surgeries and fracture repairs. The group offer a variety of referral services. The group have a fantastic and hardworking team of 19 committed Vet surgeons, 22 dedicated RVN's and a friendly, enthusiastic, support team. Staff welfare and job satisfaction is prioritized.

The practice are looking to recruit a Full or Part time Registered Veterinary Nurses. The full time role would be working a 4 day week, between Monday and Saturday. The Registered Veterinary Nurses cover a rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays, but flexibility will be required at times covering extra shifts. A day off in lieu is given during the week to compensate Saturdays worked. The role will include Nursing clinics, monitoring anaesthesia and peri-operative care of patients, assisting Vets, reception work as required and maintaining the hygiene and smooth running of the practice. 

Our client would be keen to speak to experienced RVN's who have a real passion for the profession and an interest in developing the next generation of nursing talent.  You will be able to lead by example and always be willing to step in when necessary.  They are keen to speak to nurses who are excited to train less experienced team members, be able to set timely targers, put in place efficent training systems all the while building good positibve workign relationsships with other team members.
