Are you an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for high clinical standards and a drive for excellence? If so, we'd love to welcome you to our client’s growing team near Newport.
 
Since being opened in 1996, they've invested heavily in state-of-the-art facilities to better serve patients and their owners. They've gone from strength to strength thanks to the support of the local pet-owning community. This position is a dual site role working across two sites.

Practice facilities include:

·  Site 1: Equipped with 3 consulting rooms, digital x-rays, ultrasound, In-house lab, sterilisation room and state-of-the-art dental equipment.
·  Site 2: Recently refurbished with separate dog and cat wards, dental suite, X-ray/Ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and advanced orthopaedic and spinal equipment.
 
You’d be welcomed by the dedicated team of 3 Veterinary Surgeons who are supported by experienced nurses and committed reception staff. They have a wealth of knowledge with RCVS advanced practitioners, surgical certificate holders and who have a real passion for encouraging and supporting all personal development, including gaining certificates. They have always invested in creating a safe and positive culture. A key part of that is how the management team have an open-door policy, ensuring transparency and equal opportunities for all.

·  Dual location: You'll have the opportunity to work at both sites offering excellent clinic exposure.
·  Versatility: You can choose to consult, operate, and treat inpatients, or opt for a consulting-only role if that suits your preference.
·  Clinical Exposure: They have the ability to offer brilliant Orthopaedic work ups so if you’re a GP Vet with an interest in Orthopaedics this could be an exceptional opportunity for you.

This is a full time role working an average working week of 40 hours.  The typical working day runs from 8am to 6:45pm with a fair rota share of 1 in 5 Saturdays from 8am to 12:30pm. Salary is up to £70k pa DOE.
