Our client’s premises were purpose built in what was once a cow shed, providing them a lovely spacious practice with the additional benefit of air conditioning – a big plus in the summer. They are now looking for an experienced vet to join the team.
The clinic has lovely clients who want to do the best for their animals and want you to work their cases up fully. There are great facilities including laparoscopic equipment, digital x-ray, endoscopy, ultrasound, multi parameter and heated theatre table. They are currently adding dental x-ray and are always keen to buy the equipment needed to provide the best care to their patients. The client believes in a good work life balance and ensure everyone gets a lunch break and plenty of refreshments throughout the day. They have a dedicated room where the team can take their paid lunch breaks or plenty of space outside to go for a walk in the fresh air. This small animal RCVS accredited practice that maintains a relaxed, very friendly, and supportive environment. They value their team, which includes Clinical Director, a Head Nurse, 5 Vets, 5 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 receptionists, all supported by their Practice Manager.
The clinic director has over 20 years’ experience and has a special interest in endoscopy, keyhole and soft tissue surgery, as well as feline geriatric medicine. They have been offering laparoscopic spays for many years now, not only for their own patients but from others around the county. They encourage all their vets to learn laparoscopic spays and they will be happy to set time aside so you can learn if needed.
This client can offer a flexible rota – whether you’d like to work 3, 4 or 5 days a week, they’d love to chat about the options available. There are no out of hours or inpatient on call as this is outsourced to a nearby OOH’s service. Saturday rota – just 1 in 4 (9am to 2pm).
