About the Role:
• Fixed-Term Position: Covering maternity leave for 1 year, with the potential to extend to 2 years for developing vets
• Start Date: Summer 2024,
• Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a 36-hour work week with 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis and no on-call duties. Overtime is fully compensated with time in lieu or extra pay.
• Salary: Competitive salary range from £34-60k, depending on experience.
• Development Opportunities: CPD is fully funded, offering you the chance to shape your own veterinary career.
Our Practice:
The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is well-equipped with all the essentials, including in-house bloods, X-ray, ECG/multi-monitor, Ultrasound, and unique additions like a hyrefractor diathermy unit and heated anaesthetic circuits. You'll be joining a dedicated team of 2 experienced vets, 3 full-time registered veterinary nurses, and 3 VCS/receptionists who prioritize creating a positive work environment and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
• Clinical Freedom: With much of the paperwork handled off-site, you can focus on providing the best care for your patients.
• Well-Balanced Workload: The client list has been semi-closed since early 2021 to ensure a manageable workload and maintain the well-being of the team.
