Our client has a large group of practices in the Greater London area who are looking for a full time small animal sole charge vet near Uxbridge.

Although sole-charge, you will be fully supported by the nearby 24-hour Hospital just a 10-minute drive from the practice, if you did need to refer any of your clients and their pets for more extensive treatment, or overnight hospitalisation. There is state of the art diagnostic support at the hospital with a new CT scanner, a diploma holder in imaging providing CT and ultrasound service, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.  You will be fully supported by an incredible support team of two who have been at the practice for over 20 years and are very proud of the reputation the practice has built.  In addition, you will be supported by a dedicated regional manager, and regional head vet to help you with any areas of clinical support you may need.

Uxbridge’s location is ideal with 2 main access roads including the M25 just 10 minutes away, yet it has the quint essential village feel. There is also an underground tube station on the metropolitan line, which takes you all over London within a few short stops, including Kings Cross and Liverpool Street.


In this GP first option role you will be conducting morning consultations, performing any routine surgeries during the day, then rounding up with evening consults.  This is a full-time 4-day week sole charge position, although they would be happy to explore part-time options.  Your full-time 40 hours are inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation, in addition to 2 bank holidays per year in the hospital with time off in lieu.  The salary is between £57,000 to £73,000 depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role.  There are no on-call requirements for this role.
