Our client is looking for an enthusiastic RVN to join their fantastic team with a supportive culture across 2 purpose-built sites close to the Fylde Coast in Lancashire.
The clinics are close to the beach, and less than an hour from the Lake District, and larger city's / airports like Liverpool and Manchester, so you'll have plenty of choice in how to spend your free time. The team are focused on development with certificate holders and those working towards advanced qualifications forming part of the 14 RVN / 5 ACA nursing team. The nurses also work alongside a Vet team of 10 and support team of 15. They value and utilise the skills of their nursing team highly and so offer established nurse clinics with support for further development, nurse-led dental staging, K-laser and they are currently developing nurse-led Schedule 3 ops days for those nurses in the team wanting to develop their Schedule 3 skill further. They also provide their own OOH's service for clients and so they regularly see a range of emergency cases. The nursing team includes several nurses who have been in the clinic for over 20 years, as well as several clinical coaches who enjoy supporting others in their development.
The nurses usually work their 38 hours over 4 days, however, they are happy to discuss working patterns as they understand how important a good work/life balance is. There is a share of 1 in 8 weekends (Sat & Sun on-call), plus additional Saturday morning. There is a midweek on call rota based roughly on 4 weeks with a midweek night on call, and 4 weeks without.
Salary is up to £30k pa DOE.
