Our client has four branches, all located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, renowned for providing outstanding patient and client care. The RCVS accredited hospital in Loanhead offers 24-hour emergency and inpatient care. They handle a varied medical and surgical caseload, from routine surgery and dentistry to advanced procedures and investigations. The hospital is fully equipped with in-house blood analysers, dental radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and multi-parameter monitoring. They proudly offer laparoscopic surgery as standard and provide training for new staff.
The team includes several vets and RVNs with certificates in ECC, internal medicine, surgery, dermatology, cardiology, behaviour, physiotherapy, and chronic pain. This expertise enables them to offer advanced services such as orthopaedics, BOAS surgery, and chemotherapy. They actively encourage and support professional development. They boast an incredible team dedicated to providing compassionate, high-level service to clients while continually developing their skills. The team comprises 22 vets and 24 RVNs across their four sites, supported by hardworking Veterinary Care Assistants, Reception, and Admin teams. They prioritize creating a supportive environment where everyone feels valued. Regular get-togethers focus on clinical improvement, wellbeing, and team socializing. There is an annual 'Away Day' which is a chance for the entire group to celebrate their achievements and strengthen their bonds.
They are now looking for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them. This diverse role involves a mix of consulting, surgery, diagnostics, and inpatient care. While primarily based at the RCVS accredited hospital in Loanhead, occasional branch work is also involved. They seek an enthusiastic, hard-working individual who integrates seamlessly with the team and is passionate about delivering exceptional client and patient care.
Ideally, a full-time position typically involving a four-day work week. The clinic is proud to operate their own out-of-hours service, with the rota including a share of weekends (1:12) and night shifts (1:18).
Salary for this role is up to £34 pa DOE.
