Our team in Bedfordshire are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them.

This wonderful team of nurses work across the full spectrum of nursing including anaesthesia and theatre, diagnostics including radiography and laboratory work, inpatient duties, and nurse consultations; in addition to assisting the team of Veterinary Surgeons during procedures and consultations.

All nurses are well respected and fully supported and extra training can be given to someone looking to return to nursing, or to someone starting their qualified nursing career.  This is a fabulous team where Nurses are encouraged to pursue special interests and CPD and as a Training Practice they have encouragement and support here in spades.

The Nurses work closely with the team of vets and support staff to ensure the best possible care is provided and the hours for this role are full-time (40 hours per week) working across 4-5 days a week with various shift patterns.  Shifts over a 4 day week would be 9am-7.30pm and shifts over a 5 day week would be 8.30am-5pm or 11am-7.30pm. There is a share of the Saturday morning rota – 1 in 3 (8.30am-12.30pm).  The out of hours is covered by Vets Now so, no Sundays, Bank Holidays or OOHs!

The team are happy to consider part-time or job share hours and encourage all to apply. Plus second year veterinary nursing students are also welcome to apply.  The salary for this role is up to £29,000 depending on experience.
