Our clients practice is located on the outskirts of the beautiful Lake District, Hadrian’s wall and borderlands, there is ample opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings.  They clinic is looking for a Full time Mixed or Large Animal Vet to join the team.

The teams philosophy is to treat clients’ pets as if they are their own, ensuring their patients are as relaxed and comfortable as possible, making every vet visit, a pleasant experience for both owner and animal.  There is a strong team of 8 Vets, supported by 4 registered veterinary nurses, 2 student veterinary nurses, 3 animal care assistants and a Practice Manager, Farm Services Manager and a team of 6 highly skilled Receptionists. There are two vets working towards certificates and CPD and professional development are encouraged in all disciplines and they are also a nurse training practice. The split of animals is 60-65% Farm, 30% Small and 5-10% Equine.

The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm and desire to be part of a caring, fun and dedicated team who are always aiming to give a great client experience and high-quality care to patients.  They are lucky enough to have the flexibility to create a tailored role for the right candidate, working across the two branches both within a 10-minute drive of each other. 

The vets usually work 40 hours per week across 4/5 days. However, the clients flexible approach to rota patterns and working hours truly tips the scale on your work life balance. Many of the staff members already take advantage of the flexi working approach, so they can accommodate full or part time hours, whether you need to do the school run, have family commitments or would simply like a more flexible rota pattern to fit around your lifestyle, they can fix or flex our patterns to suit you.
 
The salary for this role is up to £65,000k pa depending on experience, plus a welcome bonus of £5k and a 3K relocation allowance.
